#oneminuteradio 2 out now!

Amsterdam – August 3rd 2021

The second instalment of #oneminuteradio (11-20) is out now on Dox Records. You can find links to all major digital platforms here. As ever, the best way to support the project is through Bandcamp. Follow the project on Instagram.

Furthermore, the good people of Mondriaan Jazz and PAARD, Den Haag have made this registration of Ben van Gelder and myself playing Monk’s ‘Bye-Ya’ with the legendary Han Bennink on drums. It is a true honour for us to play with someone with such a deep understanding of this music, and I am more than proud to have some of our performance on tape.

Although the past year and a half has been challenging to say the least, we have been provided with the opportunity to register many concerts in high quality. A duo with the great Martijn Vink, my latest project Reinier Baas’ Relief Party, a set with Benjamin Herman’s Bughouse and collaborations with Ben van Gelder, Ramón Valle and Ahmed El Maai can be found here.

The Peter Gall Quintet – ft. Rainer Böhm (piano), Wanja Slavin (alto sax), Felix Henkelhausen (bass) and Yours Truly (guitar) – has been awarded the first prize at the BMW Jazz Welt Award

Lastly, I’m looking forward to meet and play music for you again. First up are duo with Ben van Gelder at Summer Space Impro in Amsterdam, and trio with Han and Ben at the Zomerjazz-Fietstour in Garnwerd, Groningen. More dates here
