REINIER BAAS & BEN VAN GELDER
“With saxophone and guitar alone, Baas and van Gelder sound like a full orchestra.” (Volkskrant) Guitarist Reinier Baas and saxophonist Ben van Gelder are prominent figures in the Dutch music scene, and long time collaborators. They have played over 300 shows together in the past 12 years, performing as a duo, as a trio with drum legend Han Bennink and with both their quintets. Their joint efforts have resulted in a collaboration with the multiple Grammy Award winning Metropole Orkest entitled ‘Smash Hits’, as well as a duo record entitled ‘Mokum In Hi-Fi’.

BENNINK, BAAS, VAN GELDER
A trio featuring the legendary drummer, artist and performer Han Bennink. “They played an insanely beautiful version of Body and Soul. BENJAMIN HERMAN’S BUGHOUSE
Bughouse is the band with which Benjamin Herman fulfils a long-held ambition of bringing together his earliest musical influences: punk and jazz. ‘I’ve had this plan for years’, he says. ‘I just couldn’t find the right musicians.’ Following a meeting with Olav van den Berg – drummer in the legendary bands Lärm and Seein’ Red – it all fell into place. The line-up is completed by guitarist Reinier Baas and bassist Peter Peskens.
